EKOPROJEKT was established in 1998.  It specializes in conducting environmental analyses related to land use planning.  In the last 11 years we have completed several hundred projects that included Eco-physiographic studies, Environmental Impact Assessments for Area Development Plans, as well as Surveys of Environmental Conditions needed for the area development plans.  We have also authored and co-authored several Environmental Effects Reports.  We also have extensive expertise in obtaining Integrated Permits and Environmental Permits, conducting Environmental Protection Studies, and detailed Inventories of Green Spaces.

In 2009 we have established a close cooperation with Geomar (incorporated in Alberta in 1995), a Canadian company that specializes in Environmental Modeling.  We are now able to offer services in modeling traffic noise propagation, air pollution, odor pollution, soil erosion, land use conflict resolution, as well as modeling of wildlife migration routes in the context of mitigating wildlife/vehicle collisions on transportation routes.  We also offer services in GIS data preparations, such as processing of aerial and satellite imagery, and customer-requested GIS-based models and analyses.
